Replacement low pressure fuel pump options?

I had the fuel pump crap itself the other day so need to replace it. It is one of the Mitsubishi low pressure types as per the pic below that has the stupid set of points in it, this is the second one of these pumps that has crapped itself so I am looking for a better option that doesn't use a set of contact points. There are no part numbers or identifying markers on the pump besides the Mitsubishi logo so I can't find any specs on it to compare with alternatives, from what I understand they are approximately 2-3 PSI and are an "interrupter" type pump that automatically switch off or slow down when required so there is no need for an external regulator? Does anyone know of any alternatives (preferably ones that don't rattle their tits off like some of the Facet pumps)?

A bike pump? or I have heard good things about Huco stuff. Also I think facet do a posiflow pump which should be quiet, though nothing about them.

Avoid the "copies" as a friend thought they would be OK. Lifespan was in minutes.

Always watch the pressure though, some can be way too highfor carbs that require 1-2psi

Facet rattle if drawing in air, they are quiet mounted on rubber bobbins.

I ran standard fire blade carbs on a low pressure one happily.

The two pumps I have had in there were bike pumps, it seems that the majority of bike pumps for carbed engines have the stupid points style contacts in them which is what I am trying to avoid. Do you know if the Posiflow pumps shut off or self regulate when the float valves in the carbs close like the bike pumps do?

I have a couple of Facet lift pumps in my turbo 7 and they rattle their tits off constantly (they are worse when dry of course) which is why I am hesitant about using one. I am sure they have quieter options as I hear that their solid state ones are better but I don't know if they can be used with bike carbs (not self regulating?). What model did you use with yours?

If it rattles away constantly you have a problem as they build pressure then stop, try clamping it off and see it that shuts it up, you must have an an air leak

Just a bit of an update on this pump replacement. I started the car today and let it idle for a while and it seems that now there is fuel leaking from the carbs which wasn't an issue with the old interruptor type pump so it seems the few PSI the new pump supplies is too much. Has anyone else had this issue with the Facet Posi-flow pumps?
I was thinking of running a resistor in line with it to drop the pressure a bit but not sure how the pump will like it.

I have used these pumps on mgbs e types and more, inc zzr 1100 carbs, with great success and relliability, they are interrumpter too, so shut off when the bowls are full,

MGB fuel pump AZX1307Q Hardi - upgrade to SU AZX1307 negative earth MGBGT MGC V8

the points have been replaced with solid state electronics so are more reliable.

Am I missing something? When running DHLA/DCOE's and a low pressure pump (Facet), I used to use a Filter King pressure regulator. That regulator was sold to someone on here for a similar application, so perhaps this is what is needed?

I have run two of the interruptor type pumps on the car thus far and they have both crapped themselves but until they point they worked well and the car ran great. The idea was to simply replace them with a newer type of interruptor pump that didn't use a set of contact points but I couldn't seem to find anything so I posted this topic to see what others had been using and the Posiflow was suggested which is what I purchased and installed. I could use an adjustable pressure regulator but would then have to fart about running a return line to the fuel tank from the regulator, etc. It just seems way more complicated than it needs to be for what should be a simple fuel pump swap.
