Just saw a Youtube video on this by Christian von Koenigsegg. Looks very interesting no more camshafts but I'm guessing very expensive. Sorry if it has been mentioned before.

Sorry its a bit off topic, but watson, are you aware of a company called UK IP Media & Events?
And no it's not UKIP!!

I used to work there and they do a number of mags and expos, particularly "Engine Technology International"

I'm sure you'd find it an interesting read, and the shameful plug (although i no longer work there) is that they have quite a good standard for working with companies like yours on a promotional level if you're interested in that?

Very old idea it was around pre-WW2. Post WW2 Tucker tried to do something similar but using hydraulics but had to give up and adapt the Franklin helicopter engine for car use. The electric idea is looking viable again because of tightening emmision rules.
