Pinto

I have a 2lt Pinto engine that I took out of my Supercat approx. 3 years ago and it has sat in my garage ever since, so am considering selling it. It has been oiled and turned regularly. It was running really well before I took it out. I just replaced it with something a bit more powerful. Any ideas what it is worth.

Approx 6000 miles and was rebuilt by Tiger racing

205 block
Stage 2 head
FR32 cam
Shortened sump
Trigger wheel
Twin 45 Webers with TPS
Distributor hole plugged off for Megajolt but I do have an Aldon distributor.

With the carbs £700 to £800 maybe more worth advertising on a ford rwd forum

Need to be a bit more specific
What is a stage 2 head?
Compression ratio?
Otherwise it's a standard Pinto with cam and carbs
They did a carb 205 as well as an injection 205 and there are differences between them that can affect the value

It is an injection engine with the injection head. The head work was carried out by Tiger Racing.
The head was skimmed slightly so the compression rating would be slightly higher than normal.

Bigger valves?

If its a standard injection engine with cam and carbs I'd expect about 130bhp
I rebuilt an 2.1 engine with similar spec

Turbosport may be a good place to advertise, lots of ford rwd boys on there.
