OT House prices in Market Deeping nr Peterborough

Anybody live there or close by who can comment how house prices are like in the area, namely are they increasing, if so by what amount? (I've looked on right move and it seems not a lot of increase).

Looking at the low end of the market £ 100 - 150 k.

It's regarded as a nice village so you would get more for your money out side of the village.

I live in the next town over, Spalding and the prices are increasing gradually much in line with other areas that are not London really. Lots of people buy in that bracket to rent out to the migrant workers which there are lots of. although not as much in Market Deeping - more Spalding and Boston.

Same as big_waser^^^^^

You need to separate your search.

Market Deeping and Peterborough are not comparable.

Both areas show growth but they are entirely different communities.
I lived in the Market Deeping area until May this year.
It is a good place to live and puts you equidistant between Peterborough and Spalding.

If you are buying to let, buy in Peterborough, Spalding or Boston.
Immigrant community in Market Deeping is small.

Im looking at market deeping, i put nr peterborough as i suspect many wont have heard of it.

I have a tenant so it will be occupief, i did wonder about the migrant workers since there is a lot of agriculture in the area but demand may decline due to uk pulling out of eu.

Also in m.d. there is landir grrrrrrr who are rolling out smart meters in the uk so there should be demand for houses as they expand.

In or out of the eu, no one will be going home. I would think your money would be safe in Deeping.
