Two mobility scooters

Two mobility scooters FOR SALE which I was planning on using for an autonomous vehicle project. Sadly another of those projects that seemed great when I was bidding on eBay but never happened in reality.

First one is four-wheeled, made by 'Celebrity'. This one worked back in the summer when I last charged it up and was able to carry me up and down the road a couple of times at reasonable speed. Battery is now showing as dead, maybe it would charge up, but I can't guarantee as it has been out in the cold in my garage for 6 months. It has the charger built in with a mains lead that is stored in the back.

Second one is three-wheeled. Unsure of make, has removable battery pack and separate charger using a three-pin XLR-type plug. The battery has had it (won't charge) hence I've not seen it move under it own power but it all seems to be complete so I have no reason to think it wouldn't.

Both ideal bases to build a self-driving vehicle having a sturdy metal chassis, transaxle, motor, speed controller, steering, etc. Search 'APM rover' for inspiration (there may be better systems since I last looked at this project). Alternatively they could have new batteries fitted and be used 'as is' (but where is the fun in that?)

£120 for the 4-wheeler
£80 for the 3-wheeler

Offers considered, don't be shy!

Chris - you may have said before, but what end result did you have in mind with your project?

I'm about to convert most of my garage into another bedroom (too many children), but there may be space left to tinker with something smaller than a kit car.
