Congratulations!

Can I ask your thoughts on the Yeading centre? I'm booking my Haynes in fairly soon and it's my closest centre. Waiting time/how friendly the inspector was/strict etc.

Thanks

he wanted to see proof so I got a letter from a kit car company that said that the tank was pressure tested and was manufacture for road use he was happy with that.

Hmmm that's tricky. I got my tank from a chap on the Haynes forum. It's very nice but obviously not approved by a company..

Fuel tank requiring approval cert' only applies to plastic tanks I think.

PS. Nice one! Looks a great build.

Congrats but where the heck is Yeading? I've just applied but asked for Gillingham which seemed to be the closest test centre (I'm just down the road from you in Reigate).

Edit: ok, found it now. I did see it before but I'm sure I saw something that said they dont do IVAs - obviously not.

So was the tester good? Fair? Really picky? Did he allow you to see the gas tester as you were going along? Someone specifically complained that they wouldnt allow that at Gillingham and he couldnt correct his emissions on the fly.
