If it was a bit cheaper my father-in-law would of had it for the hood and seats alone but its gone over his budget now which is no bad thing as i am guessing I would end up having to swap the bits over for him and I've get enough to do as it is

I'd hate to have sold it for less than I paid for the hood (£500 ish), the welding working to get it through the MoT was over £200 so I'm losing money all round on this.

That's part of the problem with his car. Its not worth £500 but needs a new hood, the mechanical bits and bodywork on his is really good and welding/re-spray was done well and is going to outlast the rest of the car!

Hope you get some more bids, still a few hours to go

Hope so. I paid £1200 for it last year and thought that was a bargain. If it goes for £700 then someone has an excellent buy.
