MK Indy CBR900 (mostly new!)
Selling on behalf of a good friend.
He bought this MK a little while back with the intention of fixing it up as it had been damaged.
The easiest route to do this was a buy a brand new chassis and whatever else it needed.
During the rebuild he also bought a lot of extra new parts that weren't needed but it would be a shame not to replace at the time.
New SKC Raptor Chassis with full cage and side bars
New Prop shaft
New wiring loom
New bodywork in black
New drivers seat
New Team dynamics with R888R tyres
New carbon fiber dash
New brake and fuel lines
The engine is a 919cc Honda Fireblade engine
7.5" cosworth LSD
Gaz shocks
Sierra 4x4 brakes
Paddle shift
Hydraulic handbrake
The car had done around 8000 miles before he bought it. During the build he replaced the clocks with the fireblade ones which read about 58k miles.
The wiring loom was replaced with a new one from SKC as the previous one was made very poorly
He said there are a couple of bits he hasn't got around to doing yet which include a cover for the rear tub, he has the material to make it
which will go with the car.
It needs a speedo healer fitting as it currently reads about double the speed you're going.
And if he was being really fussy he would get a matching passenger seat as they are slightly different.
As it had been crashed it is recorded as a Cat D. However as you can see above, anything that was damaged and more has been replaced for new.
The crash didn't cause that much damage really, but was easier and better for him to go down the route of a new chassis rather than trying to
repair.
