15k, wheres it all gone?

See ebay item 172456651375

Decent low mileage one can be got easily for 2K.
Lets say one month labour to do it at £4k

Lets say £3k on parts.

That £9k, wheres the remainder gone?

It doesn't say it cost them 15k to make it though does it, that's just what they're selling it for.
So the rest will go in their pocket once it's sold

Not my thing at all, in my view the only mind blowing thing about it would be hitting those Brembos and the knobbly tyres letting go, bye bye 15 grand....

not worth the sum of the parts imo.

looks totally over weight and ponderous, the kind of the of bike designed by someone who doesn't know much about scramblers and rather pointless imo unless you were very very fat

I'm not and never have been a motorcyclist, but that one certainly isn't for me!

"priced to sell" apparently.

Again, I've not looked at motorcycles, but knowing cars I'd imagine you can get quite a bit for £15k.

Yet another 'Bargin' in Ebay language.

Priced to relist until boredom (and corrosion) set in, until it becomes a rat-infested 'barn find' and instantly 'worf even more munny'.

Another observer of the joy of ebay language

Makes me wonder how some of these people get through life.

Oh dear - what a pity. I used to have a K100RS and it was a brilliant bike - this one now got crap tyres and lost its brilliant (RS) fairing and suddenly - it's worth more????

Or this one 263049011112

You can see the work that has gone into it, but £25k?? I dont think so, and it is bordering on slighy hideous..

That would buy you a loverly audi rs 4, few more k and its r8 territory, i know which id rather have.

My point entirely - I'd rather tool about in an RS4 (or RS6 given the choice). Not being a "biker" a good sized estate car does it for me.
