Sierra diff plug seal

A simple one....how is the fill plug on the sierra diff usually sealed against the casing? Is there normally a crush washer or an o-ring in there?

No sign of a seal or crush washer on mine. Pretty sure there isn't one.

Same - I've had a few and never seen a sealing washer. Never leaked.
