RX8/St170 adaptor

Bought one of these from Lee Butcher on Facebook. Very good quality and a reasonable price too, I'm well pleased

Another step in my crazy Focus project

Probably missed it, but what's your Focus project - RWD perhaps?

Indeed Nick

Gradually getting the parts together, back axle and gearbox from two very nice chaps on here, got a low mileage engine from a guy on PassionFord forum. Will be looking for a MOT fail/clutch fail/rotbox ST170 soon. Need a propshaft sorting but should be able to get what I need from the bay of Eees.

People will say I'm crazy, but I have my reasons, one of them being that I love rear wheel drive, probably because that's what I grew up with, a succession of RWD Mk1 and Mk2 Escorts, all of which I really wish I still had

There was a cheap box finished last night on eBay. Just wish I had the time to fetch one.

Makes sense to me - if I had the space left I'd be really tempted to follow the same path with my 205GTI. Enthusiasts might not appreciate it, but to me it would be a worthwhile challenge and hopefully a worthwhile result too!

Best of luck.
