They test the emissions at IVA,so it's what it produces on the day that counts.
I would guess it's the same level as a car engine with a CAT fitted?

Any engine from 09/95 onward is catalyst limits anyway for iva purposes, so your engine age won't have any effect.
If you end up with a q plate once registered, only a visual check will apply at mot, an age related or new plate will require the iva limits to be applied at mot.

No because they test it on the day

Say for example Honda told you it runs at 2% Co that would make no difference to the IVA tester, iirc it's 1.5% Co max for a cat equipped car,so it would need to be at that level regardless to pass

You'll need to pass a full cat test at iva, and at mot once 3 years old.
200ppm hydrocarbons, lambda 0.97-1.03 and 0.3% CO at fast idle, 0.5% CO at normal idle.

You'll need your engine management to have closed loop lambda control to pass the lambda aspect of the test, with aftermarket management and a lambda sensor this is easy once correctly mapped.
With the original bike management it may be more tricky, as there is no requirement for closed loop lambda control (there is a lambda sensor but is not used in a way which would pass an emissions test) - it should be possible to map with a power commander to get around this, i suspect that ab performance will know more.

i have got the base map of andy at ab along with the lambda blanking plug, i have also
had to fit a egvc blanking plug, im driving over to the mot center on thursday to have it
checked over and pre iva, headlight aligned, emissions, ect ect

if the map that’s on the power commander hasn’t brought the emissions down i’ll take it
to dyno to be done,

Revise that 'need', and you won't have the annual worry.

Our Arion S2 sailed through emissions with the following set up-
Stock motor
300cpi cat
Power commander base map as you have
Pairs valve connected and operating
KN race air filter in stock airbox

Make sure the motor is nice and warm
Ensure no air leaks in headers

Job done
