Zetec turbo clutch

A question for you zetec turbo running guys, what clutch did you use as I presume a std one won't take the torque, type 9 gearbox by the way, steel flywheel.

Yes I have a stage 1 rs focus clutch and running zetec turbo with 269hp now and launch control. Been on for 30 trackdays and about 2000 miles on road. No issues.

Thanks

Cheers lads, mine uses a Burton zetec RWD flywheel so it'll be a pinto uprated clutch that I'll need, I'll get one of the AP jobs I think.

Hi guys

I bought this flywheel/clutch combo for my Zetec Turbo (around 235bhp)

Im now worried its not going to be up for the job? I hope it is ...cost enough.

What do you reckon?

A link for us.....

I use the stage 1 focus rs clutch on mine with over 300hp and has been fine for 2 years. Stripped recently and still looking good.

Thanks

Oops here you go

http://www.kitspares.co.uk/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=1232

It's small dia and less beefy looking than the clutch I had on there (pinto clutch I think) but the springs look thicker.

The old clutch was slipping when you put the power down....
