plastic thread plug

Trying to get something to blank the 7/16 seatbelt mounting bush tubes on my roll hoop but had a good search on ebay for things like thread protector plugs etc. but not coming up with anything. I know the spray painters use these to mask off internal threads but what are they called and where can I get some? :-)

If it ain't broken, fix it anyway (just because).

Our metalwork painters use bits of rolled up cardboard to plug the hole and protect the thread - simply pulled out when finished.

ordered!, looks way better than plastic plugs (and who cannot resist a bit of annodised machined metal!)

Very nice!

I treated myself to some anodised Aluminium bolts before for my bicycles (used in non load bearing points). As Craig says a bit of machined metal can be strangely enticing

Was't there a thread on here the other day about a numberplate bloke that sells plugs?

what should I put into threaded bush tube before sealing it with these? will coppaslip prevent corrosion, or grease?

Do you need to put anything in there?

With those are fitted it should prevent stuff getting in there.
