Zetec Oil Pump - Renew or not

I'm in the middle of rebuilding my Zetec ST 170 engine and I've taken the oil pump off. There is a small area of light scoring on the cover plate. Would I be wise putting a new pump on while I've got the engine on the bench or is light scoring OK, the rotors look ok?
Thanks
Ian

I'd fit a new one while you've got it apart, better safe than sorry!

I've replaced water pumps on several cars when having cam belts changed. It's easier and cheaper than taking the whole lot apart again should the water pump fail just after the cam belts been done.
