Clutch pedal travel

Hello all.

Is there enough travel with this clutch lever position, or do I need to make a spacer between clutch plate and release bearing? The thrust bearing is just touching the clutch prongs with no pressure. If I need a spacer, can it be just mild steel?

Thanks all
Hugh

put a lever against it and see if it bottoms out against the side, tbh that looks normal to me

Thanks, I suppose I was having a particularly stupid day, as I just tried it by hand, couldn't move it, and didn't even consider using a lever!

yeah that isn't going to work

I particularly liked this design as it is so easy to see inside, even check the thrust bearing and spring fingers without taking it apart
