Fireblade 900rr starting problems

98 fireblade won't start in my mk indy. Can sometimes get it to start and it runs on two cylinders for a bit then three and then four. It sparks and it is getting fuel

Spark plugs are always covered in fuel and I'm not sure why?

Carbs have been replaced
Battery
Fuel pump
Starter

Are the floats stuck in the carbs and therefore flooding the engine?
Also what fuel pump are you using? Maybe too high a pressure and pushing fuel through..

Thanks
Steve

You need to be very careful running it too rich, you will bore wash the cylinders and end up needing to rebuild the engine.

You've tried standard carbs on it?

Just wondering if someone's been fiddling and fitted the wrong size jets/or got the needles heights wrong?
