Doesn't look too bad to me. Wing, 2 doors, some trim.... Abig scuff down the side, airbags haven't gone off.
Not sure about value though...

It's light damage as the only panels appearing to be damaged are bolt on ones with little frame damage to repair, though the rear arch has denting and the front tyre has been pulled from the rim maybe due to a puncture or could indicate suspension damage. At £3500 and 10,000 miles for a 2018 car, even spending a couple of thousand on repairs would make it good saving on the £11k new price.

Not that I'd ever want such a hideously ungainly motor

Never heard of an MG 3. Its probably going cheap because the insurance company body shops wont have the approved repair procedures... or even be able to get the parts!

The MG 3 and MG 6 have been around since ~2011 and they aren't particularly uncommon.

Why on earth anyone would want to buy a Chinese car is beyond me.

MG Enthusiast mag had one for long term test and the day they got it the gearbox broke.
