Ron Champion Rear Wings

I originally got my rear wings direct from Ron Champion. They are not of the best quality and I need a new pair. However anything that comes up for sale appears to be of a larger size, certainly in width. Does anyone know if Ron Champion had his own made or used some that already existed to make molds from. Failing that, if I used wider and fitted wheel spacers would that affect the handling in any way?

I had the wider Cateram ones on my locost, that I took a mould off, and made my own, there 11" I believe, and you will need spacers, as the wheel track is a lot wider at the back, compared to the front,

I do seem to have an issue if you get into the ruts on the road that lorries have worn the road down, best answer to that is to stay in the outside lane!

One of my upcoming projects is to reduce the width to 9.5-10" and that will bring the wheels in slightly, and more in line with the fronts
