Anyone selling a kit car ??

Hi guys,
I’m currently in the market to buy a kit car.

After something like a Tiger, mk Indy etc. 2.0L

Looking to spend 3 - 4K max.

Just wondered if anyone on here was looking to sell or knows of any good ones.

Thanks

I’ll keep my eyes open for you bud. At that price it may need some tidying up but I’m sure you’re aware of that.

£3-4K for a car it's very likely to need either finishing or quite a bit of tidying up.

It would help if you added your location and distance your prepared to travel. If you're in Devon there may not be much point people offering cars in Scotland.

Good point.
I’m located in Wiltshire, not expecting to find a showroom kitcar but do want one which is running and can be tidied up when not using.

Happy to travel 2 - 3 hr drive if needed, don’t want any more as I would be looking to drive it back.

Thanks

Hi,
Had a look at this, tried one offer but got rejected.

I need to take a trip to see it before parting with 4K but it’s 200miles away so would be a day out.

From your knowledge of kits does it sound / look to you?

Said he got it last year but looks like he only registered it in June this year.

Very difficult to say whether it’s built to a high spec without seeing it mate. Looks tidy though, can you get more photos of the engine bay, underneath etc etc?

I looked around for a little while and was on a similar budget. Ended up buying a pretty tired Tiger for £1800. It’s needed a lot of work but they’re easy to work on and I’ve found the whole experience really enjoyable.

Have you joined the tiger owners club?

Not joined the club yet no.

Something like that would be perfect as I enjoy working on the cars, have restored a few classics over the years.

I did nearly buy one which needed a new engine until I done a check and found it was a cat c.
