If you are using the original engine computer would think it would require the original instrument cluster --- engine computer will communicate with the cluster on the CanBus.

Using Ford ECU, dash is old fashioned style dash with ETB instruments, just wanted a MIL/CEL light to highlight if there was any issues, I have the engine installed with all the original ford sensors, when scanned it has no error codes other than wrong signal from fuel gauge.
