Escort 9” backplates for English axle

Hi folks.

I’ve been building an RS2000 rear English axle from parts and am close to being complete. I already have the 3.5 diff, the correct casing, halfshafts and 9” drums but I’m missing the two backplates. I believe I’m right in thinking that these are different to the Capri units.

Does anyone have a set of 9” backplates for sale? Obviously at the moment they’d need to be posted, but I’m happy to arrange a courier to collect if they could be wrapped.

Thank you.

I've got some complete rear brake setups somewhere, but i can't remember if they're 8 or 9 inch.

When i find them, i'll let you know if they're any good.

Yep, they're 9" with 45mm wide linings.

They've been stood for 15-20 years, all the hardware is there except the handbrake link bar.

Let me know if that suits you.
