Old Pipercross air filters

What do you do with old Pipercross air filters once the foam starts to degrade?
I had 2 spares which I kept in the barn but over the years exacerbated by some recent floods caused the foam to breakup.
I had a go at replacing the foam but I’m not sure it’s worth the effort, my next project is to build a flat top version and maybe an air box so if you have an old Pipercross filter I would be interested in it as the base for my next project.

I eat to survive
I drink to forget
I breath to pi55 my ex wife off (and now my ex partner)
