Does anyone know this car? NNR 399W

Car is an NG Henley Pastiche - I bought it recently to get it back on the road, just trying to find out more about it's history - who built it/owned it originally & any info on the peeps that did a ground up resto on it a few years back, but never finished it see pic below. Previous owner had no history on it at all

I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours. http://shop.ebay.co.uk/furoreproducts/m.html?_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1

I don't know the car or NG's.

Are they Locost'ish underneath or based on something else?

Yeah, I'm not expecting miracles from a ladder frame chassis!, but it's quite sturdy, it's effectively all 2.0 Mk5 Cortina, it's had a really great partial rebuild chassis all cleaned back & painted, new nuts/bolts all over the place, new brake cylinders, refurbed calipers, new discs/pads/rear shoes/drums, all suspension/springs, engine/gearbox/axle cleaned & painted & whole body resprayed - unfortunately that now needs doing again as the paint wasn't properly applied & has microblisters all over the place.

I think it changed hands around that point & the guy that took it over either didn't have a clue/ran out of time/money/skill or whatever. The wiring was a complete mess, now largely sorted, I still need to sort a few bits, which I'll be asking the LCB collective for some info on if I can't find info elsewhere, needs a set of tyres as all perished, needs the auto adjust clutch sorting out & a new clutch cable, I'll sort a roll hoop for it & remount seat belts more sensibly, can't make up my mind whether to bother with a roof or not, probably depends what's available through the owners club!

Should be a lovely old thing when done & they do still make decent money

i think the Henley is slightly larger too, so better for bigger drivers like me. (I'm on the hunt for one :-) )

What's the FB group called? I tried searching NG & NG Owners & a few other derivatives, but not coming up with anything?

Mines just a standard 2.0 Pinto, tho' TBH. I doubt there's a huge performance difference between the Pinto & a standard Rover, particularly if they've both got a fair mileage under the belt!
