brakes?

can the four pot calipers of the metro fit onto the austin mini hub out f the gt or do u need the hubs from the met aswell?

My memory of doing this is hazy, they do fit, you need the vented disks from the metro, or remove the spacer in the hub.


Istr the drive flange needs machining, but its definately a simpleish mod, I had it done to my Mini.

The main problem most people faced, was that the mini's wheels where too small for the new caliper, since metro's used 13" wheels and mini's 10-12.

Mine used the Metro hub as well but I converted from front drums (years ago) and the 12" wheels fitted over them.

cheers ppl, if i can get them of ebay i can but i might go for the two pot that are on the car already, i'll see wat the money and time is like.
