totalkitcar LIVE
totalkitcar LIVE
I sent a mail to totalkitcar for more info on the weekend at Brands Hatch on 17/18th september, mainly to ask about camping or accomodation over the
weekend and when we can get access.
This is the main of the reply
Hi Bob;
Yes camping is FREE and circuit access will be from 6PM on Sept 16. The bar/restaurant will I'm told be open on Friday evening til late.
We'll also soon have a list of accommodation in the area.
Best Regards

So this i think is good news as entrancce for the show is £5 a day which is a bargain price.
Who's up for the whole weekend ?

Don't forget that the kit car show is only on Sat and Sunday is a 'run what you brung' track day which is under £180 for the day
with 110db noise restriction.

You are missleading people ,the show is over the weekend.
Saturday is the manufacturers showing off there cars and sunday is joe public on track for £179,there is also an auto test for £10 and a 0-60 drag run
for £10 on the sunday too.
I doubt very much the traders will all dissapear sunday when there is a captive audiance, plus probably some broken cars.

This is what the website says, no mention of the Sunday except for the Run what you Brung.
"DON’T MISS…..totalkitcar LIVE! Saturday 17 September 2005 at BRANDS HATCH. Admission just £5. Come and see virtually the whole industry in
action on the world famous ‘Indy’ circuit. 50 Manufacturers now booked. Track open from 9am – 18.30pm. Noise level 110db. It’s NOT a trackday it’s NOT
a kitcar show….it’s totalkitcar LIVE!"

yup andy you got it right .
The "run wot ya brung" is part of the weekend added by totalkitcar.
The list of manufacturers is very big as you can see from the site info,i doubt they will all get the track time they desire and it will probably
follow on into sunday.
It should be a good weekend what with the manufacturers trying to sell there products, then the the people who have bought them the following day
moaning about them

Hopefully the Gemini will be on the road by then (nearly there now) so I should be going and camping too (even though I only live 20mins down the
road). Promised my lad we would take the car and camp at one show at least this year.

Thanks for that andy, the leaflets totalkitcar were handing out at stoneleigh are a bit missleading. It does look like the show is on both days on the
leaflet.
Anyway it clashes with the goodwood revival meeting so i will make my mind up nearer the time as to which i'll attend.
Of course fee tickets for either would sway me
