Superb NASA software
For those of you with such inclinations, NASA have got a cracking peice of software that enables you to navigate the globe while it overlays satellite
images (and more).
Zoom in, swoop around. It's like a good trip. Probably.
It's a free open source app, but it's 180MB to download. A 3D graphics card is needed and a bucket full of RAM (Ran OK on a 64 bit Athlon
with 1GB of ram!)

I downloaded this a couple of weeks ago - fasinating!
Zoom in on Tucson arizona and you can see clearly all those mothballed B52s amd other aircraft.
What is frightening is, if NASA are happy for us all to have access to this level of detail, what the hell do the military have!
