Windscreen frame.

Can anybody point me in the right direction to get hold of some alloy channel to construct the windscreen. The book doesn't say what size is required, although as you use 9mm ply as a former, it must be 9mm internal, (brain or what). The only size I have come across so far has outside dim's of 12mm x 12mm but this does seem short in the leg measurement. Would be interested in what others have used. I can't use a manufactured screen, as the car is a non standard width.

Nicely done!

DO NOT QUOTE ME ON THIS!!!!!

but a word of warning. I've read (I think on here) that if a windscreen is not correctly "E" marked it will not pass SVA. As I recall the book doesn't say anything about getting e marked glass.

I would be very happy to be corrected thou.

Who the f**K tightened this up!

I contacted Lolocost.

They said they couldn't deliver, it had to be collected.

Also when they bought a batch they cut it up to make it easier to store,
so they couldn't help me with my +4.

How silly is that?
