Very nearly a pass

SVA, Fail,

But only on Hazard warning lights (not working when ignition off) and fuel cap restrictor. Stupid I should have known.
Every thing else OK. Just need to sort these, then I'm on the road.

Leigh.

If you're going to fail. then it's best to do it on simple things!

That's a very good result, and shouldn't take very long to fix.

Well done!
David

Bloody hell mate - that is a fantastic fail. You can kick yourself but at the end of the day you cant check everything in the same way they they do. If they find nowt at all im sure they look deeper!

Very easy fixes, wont be long now. Fingers are crossed. You could go back tomorrow and collect you MAC!........ shame they'll sting you another £30 for so little.

WELL DONE!

Sounds like a classic case of the test center wanting some money. The initial fee goes to swansea - retests to the center.

Well done Leigh, that's a good result. A couple of very simple fixes and you're on the road. When's the retest?

Phil

re-test proberbly 2 weeks, then I'll be there saturdays, can't wait!
The guy at the test center was very good. We had to muck around with the emissions. Ended up covering half of the air box with a A4 pad to reduce the air flow. We had to dismantle one of the head lights because the lens was giving a funny pattern.

Nice one Leigh.

Was it at Watnall or Derby?

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Hi Pete,

It was at Watnall, with Martin. Same guy as did the last car. Very consistant and fare.

bad luck but also well done at the same time leigh, very minor things to fix.

don't really agree with the comments been made about the test center wanting money from the retest. martin also did the test on mine and was very fair, if it's right it'll pass if it's not then it won't.

built a car, built a home, had a family. lost the family, lost the home, still got the car.
