bearing change
morning all, how do i know if the bearings in the hubs need changing?

If they have play or rough or or noisey when you rotate them.

is it ok to put the entire upright including the hub into the sandblaster, will the sand effect the bearing, or is the bearing a sealed unit

In extreame cases wheel will fall off
Jack up one side and rock wheel vertically and then horizontally. Anything more than just a hint of movement and the bearings are loose. Retighten,
if still bad they is bu$$ered

Sand will muck the bearings right up
I put new bearings in my hubs regardless, they arent that expensive, and once they are done they should last years.
