Recently did the same, and as I couldn't find a firm locally that could do the correct BS, (but could do BS6206), I contacted SVA, and was told by a very rude chap, that ONLY the stated BS was acceptable, ie BS857 or BS857/2. Had a hell of a job finding a firm that actualy did it, miles away, and very expensive. Sorry this is not much help to you, but if the guy was correct, and I can only assume he was, then your piece of glass is no good.

Windscreen

Hi

My car failed with BS6206 markings this is the bs spec for patio doors / shower screens etc. You will need it marked to BS857/ BS857/2 to pass. I managed to get one cut for £90.
