what width rims/tyres do people run on 13's? I've had a look and struggle to find 205 width tyre in a 13" - especially in
road/sprint spec tyres (excluding the r888's).
do people use 6's and 8's rims which would be good for slicks aswell or a bit narrower?
cheers,
Ned.

205/60R13 are available from a couple of manufacturers including Falken, Toyo and Michelin
The recomended rim width for this tyre is 5.5 to 7.5 inches.

i want to keep the unsprung weight down, hence the 14" wheelsnow and hopefully 13" for track use, just the availability of wide enough
tyres (for a car engine with 200bhp+ car) seems low.
although not recommended can anyone see a reason why a 205 wouldn't sit right on an 8" rim? having measured it, 205mm which is the contact
patch width of the tyre is near enough 8", so they must have the tyre tapering out slightly from the rim as standard?!
Ned.
