gel battery bargain

Was pondering what battery to buy, doing some research i spotted a bulk buy that was done on blatchat last summer. I rung up the company it was done through - http://www.powervamp.com/contact.php and they did a very close price! I've just bought an odyssey pc-625 (http://www.odysseybatteries.com/battery/pc625.htm) which is roughly equivalent to a redtop 25 (normally around £80-90) for about £60 delivered!

i think this is excellent value, so thought i'd share it.

cheers,

Ned.

ps just mention the blatchat/lotus 7 bulk buy, the guy who originally organised it was David Nelson.

Powervamp seem pretty reasonable. I bought one of those 'single seater' jump packs at donnington last year. It cost £200 with 2 sets of leads and a socket for my car. It has a built in charger that protects the battery.
I was fed up with having to take the side panel off to jump start the car when it had been standing. Also the panel houses the battery cut off, so I had to stop the car to refit the panel.
