The TVR CC days are normally through invitation, normally sent out to if you're a member of the Ulster Kit Car Club. They normally use the full
Kirkistown circuit and are 10 minute sessions at a time. Paddock usually consist of expensive (road) sports cars.
The Thoroughbred Sports Car Club (TSCC) days are done on the 'short' sprint circuit and you need to joint he TSCC to be eligible as a
driver. Membership costs £15pa. Format mirrors a sprint meeting, cars take off in groups of 4-5 at intervals for 3.5 laps. The paddock normally
contains sprint/hillclimb cars and some race hatchbacks. You'll normally get 5 or more runs.
I've never been to a trackskills day, but they do come highly recommended by a couple of friends who went last year while I was rebuilding.
Seems to be based on 15 min sessions, I was told there was an abundance of tracktime at last years trackskills day.
The Northern Ireland Sevens also do a couple of track days. You can expect lots of Caterhams, Westfields, and us bike engined mob. Again I missed
this one last year but have it on good authority it was top notch.
There are a couple of other organizations doing track days - Club GTi do a few of dates - I haven't got any of those, but they're good
crack, lots of hot hatches, on the full course. If anyone knows of any other dates, or any dates at Bishopscourt please add them on.
