Headlight Height

Quick question. The SVA manual says:

"In the case of a Dipped Beam Headlamp the minimum height is measured to the apparant trace of the beam cut-off on the lens" (Section 9.1 Note 1)

Is this the horizontal line across the lens?

I've also seen a couple of threads where people say the height is measured to the bottom of the lens....

Thanks,
Chris

I don't think it is to the bottom of the lens for the Dipped Beam but is for the other lights. The bit i've quoted is over the page form where it says to the bottom of the lens. My interpretation is that it is measured to the line I've circled below..... Which is a pain because my lights are a bit lower than the 500mm and i've already woulnd the spring platforms as far as they will go. Rescued attachment img_1025.jpg
