Westfield sold to Robin Hood?

Hi all, spoken to at least two people today who both say they have heard a rumour that RobinHood have bought Westfield!!!!!!!!!!!!
When the 1st person told me i was sceptical but now i've heard it twice i'm starting to wonder if there may be some truth in it.
Has anyone else in the biz heard anything?????? This could be big news!

I've always had a good opinion of Westfield - I do hope that RH moves towards Westfield's standards, and not the other way round...

I'm with david,

if it can raise Robin Hoods standard and keep the prices low then all the better.

I doubt it's got anything bto do with quality of product - perceived quality perhaps. Don't forget it's venture capitalists behind this; not good natured philanthropists. It's all to do with maximising the value, and probably realising some cash through asset sales on the way.

Isn't Volvorsport doing something at the Robin Hood factory now? It sounded that way when he last posted.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Spoke to the guys at RH at Detling, they seem to have a lot of stuff in developement at the mo.
They still have that Rager thing in their showroom but don't know what to do with it yet. It certainly is a curious bit of styling.
