wiring the brake sensor
i have a sierra brake master cylinder with a float sensor with three connections on the top.
the vicky green wiring loom i have has two wires
how do i wire it up so it works?
is there another float sensor that i need?

You will find that 1 wire is a common and the other 2 are switched - either one of these will do the job.
If you have a test meter (or a test light) find a pair of wires that give a connection when the cap is in its normal state (i.e. with the float
downward) and an open circuit when the cap is inverted.

Mine a MK2 escort but I think the principles are the same, power goes to the bulb, then one of the wires goes to the switch on the m/cyl, the other
wire then returns to the handbrake switch to act as a bulb test, the third wire on the master cylinder goes to earth & so earths out the bulb when
you have no fluid, loads of people just wire up the handbrake bit, thinking the lamp is a "handbrake on" warning light, but the day they
run out of fluid the true use of the lamp will not work.

The top of the M/C lid is also a test button. Press the black dome and a switch underneath it clicks, easier than taking the lid off to simulate low
fluid. You don't need a handbrake warning light for SVA if you don't want to wire one in, just look at the lever to see if it's on
 .

IIRC its the 2 outer ones?? I think thats what my VG wiring diagram says..
