Sierra Relays for Premier Wiring Loom

Probably the post boring topic i have written to date!

I have some of the relays of the donor car loom, can i use any of these in the premier wiring loom?

If not. Has anyone got the details for which relays i need to buy from a shop?

I grabbed a handful of Sierra relays from the scrapyard and used them in my Premier loom.

They go in the relay holders built into the Premier Loom!

Or did I miss the question there?

Cheers,

From memory there are 4 relay holders in my premier loom, two for the headlights main and dip one for the indicator flasher unit and one for the wiper intermitant.

I put the 21W sierra lights relays in plus the tall black flasher relay, the tall red relay was for the intermitant wipe.

I also added a 40W relay for the rad fan with dash switch override too.

It is known that some builders add a relay to the horn as well.

hope this helps

If you want some sexy Bosch relays then BMWs have them. They slip in your pocket at the scrappy very easily as well!

Cheers,
Jim

Yeah, you seen the prices we pay at the scrappy down here?!!!

There were several 5/7 series last time I was at my favourite scrappy. Good for long battery leads as the battery is at the rear!

I did rather enjoy the idea of hoiking out the 5litre v12 that was in the 750 too!

Cheers,
James
