OMG

0 -150 11.8secs
30 - 70 1.8 secs

Surely thet must be able to add some 1/4mile records to their CV.

heh heh will confirm the car is "quite nippy" it's the one I passengered in on the run down to Le Mans last year, except that it's now up to 720hp from 650ish!!!!!

Makes you wonder when that is from a pushrod 2 valve per cyl v8 running on a carburettor doesn't it!!!

Mate rang me a week or so ago to tell me about the new record, it was set on a day when it was raining most of the time too!!!

The bit he keeps stressing is that it's done on fully road legal tyres, not DOT approved drag tyres or anything, but fully UK road legal OE tyres!! The same ones in fact that they used for the concentric circle skidpan lateral G record set with the same car!

Yea, and mine!

Luckily I went to school with Richard Marlow, and we are still good mates (he lives a few miles up the road) so I get a few excursions in the demo cars now and then!!

Has it still not been on top gear? Though I suppose humiliating all those £250k supercars might upset someone rich with a new GT40.
