Zetec Alternator Wiring
Just had a look at old threads and I get the idea that all i need is the one blue wire from the premier wiring loom for the light and a thicker red
cable to the starter motor. Is that right?
I have B+, D+ and W marked as three connections on my zetec alternator. Which ones do i use for which wire?

B+ this is the alternater output and would normally have a thick brown wire but maybe red in your case. the D+ normally would have a thin wire this is
your field wire and this goes to ignition warning light. The W is not used. Not certain of premier colours
