Its a good job that my puter is in a comunal area of my house and not in the bathroom. I'd have to lock the bath oom door for a while.

Surprisingly no mention of fuel consumption figures!

Nor of actual performance, i.e. 0-60 for V-MAX!

Perhaps it's all show and not much go?

hmmmmm, how do the fit them then?

"Endless rings" have an overlaps instead of squared-off ends, so that under pressure the ends are sealed - hence no blow-by.

As for performance - he does state that it does 125mph in 4.something seconds, which is fairly impressive.

Shame he's gone and ruined it by putting that stupid scoop thing on it. Is it actually possible to mig titanium and ally together?

MMMMMMM very nice. I do agree though that scoop spoils the smooth lines of the bonnet.

If I want to end it all, I'd like to take that for a drive in the wet!

BTW I was under the impression that welded aluminium chassis' had been tried a few times before (on much lower powered sevens) and had always ended in cracks/metal fatigue......
I know the Elise got round it by bonding instead of welding.

The trick with this article is to separate the technical achievements of the maker from the waffle spouted by the know-nothing author...

It works for motorbike frames, including 260bhp MotoGP bikes.....

In case anyone hasn't seen the link in PH here is a video of what looks to be an earlier version.

On the other hand this video completely fails to make me want an Veyron - it just doesn't supply the soundtrack.
