South Brum - September Meet
I've planned another drive-PUB-drive type of evening starting from a pub car park. The thinking behind this is if it's raining we can
adjourn to the pub for the evening instead of driving to one. So details are;
Monday 4th September 19:00-19:15 at;
The Talbot,
Hartle Lane,
Belbroughton,
Stourbridge,

The plan is to drive towards Hagley and then on towards Bridgenorth along the A458. Just outside Bridgenorth we will turn left and left again to head
back towards Kidderminster along the A442. We'll stop at a pub in Quatford;

Hi What time do you plan to be at quatford??? i Live in Telford only just down the road for me I could pop to meet you all, thats if its ok

We aim to meet at 7:00 for a 7:15 dparture but its usually nearer to 7:30. It is about 25 miles which at an average 50 MPH is about half an hour. We
should arrive at around 8:00, give or take. Plus a bit for oil leaks or getting stuck behind caravans.

no oil leaks from me this time - looks like i'll be stuck in London all week.
Wriggling, squirming and pleading to be allowed to escape from what are going to be some of the most boring meetings ever, so things may change at the
last minute.

me also all weather dependant tho. My indy has been all wrapped up for a while now. need an excuse to get it on the road.

Actually, the two round things on the front of mine don't do much. On main beam, they light up the trees more than the road. Still, as none of
us are wooses and we don't mind a bit of darkness, I'll see you all on monday.

Actually, you won't see me on Monday, headlights or not.
I'm working late and I haven't had a day off for over 3 weeks now, not even a sat or sun, not even bank holiday - grizzle grizzle 
Plus my cars parked in west wales at the mo. Can't wait to get it home again.
Gaz, I'm likely to be stuck in London all week too. If you fancy a pint drop me a line.

Sad to hear it Dave. The weather forecast for tomorrow evening has just turned to rain. It has been forcast dry all week as well.
I have to ask. How did your car get to wales and then stay there? Did you deliberatly leave it or did it choose to stay?

i was looking at this also, but the weather report now shows rain above the area, so we might get away with it. Only time will tell.

Went to this with a mate, only found one car there. But had a nice chat to the guys that turned up.
Glad i went in the range rover, it chucked it down on the way home, mate nearly had a head on colision and i think all the drivers comming the other
way didnt like me having 1000 watts of spots on.

Yes, a very poor show. I was the only one in a seven. Still, I didn't see a bit of rain all evening and there was very little traffic, so I
had fun, just without the convoy.

Yeh sorry about not turning up weather was rubbish in Telford. didnt get back home from work untill 7.15. Looked at skies and was umming and r ing.
so thought nahh didnt fancy getting wet.
If you do any more let me know will get there next time
