Type 9 Electronic Speedo Sendor
Does anyone know whether you can use the electronic output on a type 9 gearbox in connection with the Tiger electronic speedo (ETB Gauge)?
There are three wires out of the type 9 electronic spedo sender, but only two to the speedo.
The speedo uses a read switch to pick up on pulses but the bit in the gearbox is a cog, although it must have something inside it which might be
magnets and a sensor?
Any ideas?
Mark.

Not sure about the colours but the three wires on the sensor will be +ve, earth & signal. The two wires on the speedo will be signal &
earth............ probably.
Cheers,
Raz
When thinking outside the box doesn't work any more, it's time to build a new box

Spoke to ETB this morning and they confirmed that the three wires on the sensor are +ve, earth & signal.
This can be wired into their dial.

Quick hijack
Anybody used these with a telemetrix speedo, might be worth while giving this a try rather than messing around with the magnets (AGAIN)
Cheers
