Mac seat sizes

Just seen the seat offer here -> linky

Firstly how robust are they, I'm wanting them for an off road buggy so they'll probably see a hard life.

Secondly can someone run a tape-measure over theirs if they have them. I Need these:

O/T for your question, but those carbon fibre scuttles in the background look tasty!

They have been dropped on a few occassions and regularly get used when testing pedals steering etc. This involves a kind of rocking in them because they are not fixed.

They still look good as new - Quality seats IMHO.

Cheers, would appreciate it.

I have twin problems with seats what with the pie 'issue' and having a chassis that tapers rather more quickly than a 7 - yes it is rather cozy. Lotus elise seats fit, but I'd prefer something that's completely waterproof.

Got a u2u from Colin saying 440mm at widest point, which is only a problem if the widest point is 'A' on the diagram.

I must admit to not taking the "they'll be with you tomorrow" quote completely seriously. But I'm very impressed with the service.

A quick lookover and they look perfect, and to be honest the photo doesn't do the subframes justice.

Had a quick sit in and lets just say the FBs were required but they seem very comfortable once in
