Indyblade running problem update
Hi
Following on from previous thread here, have had carbs and jets stripped and
ultrasonically cleaned plus leaking fuel union replaced by local bike shop. However after refitting carbs we still have the same problem.
Engine starts OK runs at fast tickover for a couple of minutes but then if you open the throttle the revs inrease surging from low to high with
constant throttle.
Got another set of coils to try tomorrow and another set of carbs on their way just to make sure.
Any more ideas?

Have you had the plugs out, they can cause all sorts of trouble if you have flooded them
Just a thought

Hi all,
Just to say that it looks like we have fixed the problem. Many thanks to Mark at MAC#1 who correctly diagnosed a faulty regulator/rectifier and
everyone else who suggested possible causes of the problem.
We have now replaced and relocated the unit and after a quick run round the block it seems OK. Will just have to see how we get on during a longer
run.
