It's people like you that give people like me a bad name

I rang my MD at 7.30 and said I don't mind driving, but don't shout if I twat the car.

Not worth the risk he says, sorted

I should walk to work as its only 3 miles max but its a country lane with no paths. I know how i drive on this lane so fear it is too dangerous to walk especially in reduced visibility.

6 miles is quite a distance to walk to work though, well done for that.

My locost is my only car at the moment and my workshop is about 6 miles from home.

Have missed the last bus a couple of times and its little interesting walking through bristol in the middle of the night, not to mention bloody cold!

To be honest I see no reason that a 7 couldn't be used all year as an only car, with the proper hood etc. I used my Falcon no stop and in quite terrible weather without difficulty and it's little different from a 7.

So it's your car I've seen parked on Whiteladies Road then. Was it missing a cycle wing the other day, or did I imagine that?

Yup that was my shamefully filthy car! In need of a real clean and some TLC :-(

It is missing a front wing, hence my other post regarding black or yellow wings. Nearside front went for an adventure under the nearside rear wheel. Needless to say it didnt survive! Was going a little quickly at the time!

Do you live in Bristol?

Yep, I'm at uni here. Was nice to see a locost rather than a caterfield for a change, I stopped and had a look at it. Shame about the wing!

I used to walk home from school (never to) quite regularly (approx 6 miles) and to (when I started work) the station most of the time.

Then I got a life and realised I could be doing far more interesting things with my time

The longest walk i have done reasonably recently was up in derbyshire around one of the high ridges. Was about a 14mile round trip, 10 of which were up some rather steep hills. Keeps you fit though

I have to do it all the time, half a shandy and I develop an utterly unbreakable aversion to paying someone extortionate money to take me places. Tis a right bastid
