Sierra steering column switch gear

Does the early Sierra steering column switch gear fit the later steering column?

Have a late column fitted but the early switch gear with its higher rating would make sorting the wiring out easier (less relays).

Any one tried this and if so any known issues?

When I built my Tiger Cat I had a later set of switches with the horn in the centre of the steering wheel, I aquired a set of earlier switches with the horn on the end of the indicator (IIRC) arm and they worked fine. There are only a couple of screws on each side that hold the lot on. The connections on the Sierra vary over the years so you will need to work out which terminal does what, but that's not too difficult.
