alternator tensioner

Hi,

I have just had to swop to an alloy RS style alternator bracket to prevent the alternator hitting the manifold. Now the tensioner bracket (flat alloy bit with a long hole in it for want of a better description) doesnt reach the alternator. is there a replacement part i can use or do i need to fabricate something?

Cheers

Paul

You will need to make a longer one or if you can pull the alternator closer to the engine and use a small belt

There is also a tapping behing the alternator that you can see on the block in that picture.
You can insert a bolt and a use a lock nut on to tension the alternator.
