Stonleigh - East Anglia convoys

I'm hoping to go on the Monday, early.
Anyone going from around here (East)? If you don't mind travelling at a steady 60 fancy going in convoy? It's all dual carriageway and motorway which is a bit boring, (A14, M6) so it would be good to have some company.
Mind you the car is off the road temporarily as I'm trying to track down some tie rod ends for my new Escort steering rack. The old ones are a different thread. Why is nothing ever straight forward?
Cheers,
Jon

I hope to be taking my car, weather permitting.

Don't know what day yet - all depends on SWMBO to a certain extent.

Also depends on whether I can get the seat cushions comfortable enough to avoid bum fatigue on such a long journey...

I was rather hoping to cruise at 70mph, rather than 60mph!

Hi John, I'm hoping to go on the Monday so would be up for a convoy.
However if you get as much response as I did for Detling it will probably be just the two of us
Let me know where you want to meet.

Cheers Dave. I might have it sorted, but if not I'll take you up on your kind offer.
Thanks. See you soon.
Cheers,
Jon

Rusty and I leaving mine (West Cambridge) about 11:30 Sat.

Anyone welcome for a convoy. (No 18 wheelers alowed in our convoy)
