Indy Pinto Weight

just had the weighbridge at work calibrated, so thought i;d better check it by putting the indy on,

2.0 pinto

1/2 tank of fuel

560kg !!!

well chuffed

thats a nice weight for a pinto that. if you dont mind me asking what is the spec what weighty items do you have im hoping for a weight between 500-575kg myself

A very good weight, my pinto in a book chassis booked in at 699kgs at SVA, but the chassis is the srongest you can get without a 4 1/2" gun sticking out of the top

have mk fibreglass seats, so a bit of weight saved there.

alloy fuel tank,alloy floor,

aeroscreen instead of windscreen.

but the wheels i have on are 16kg a corner with tyres on, i have some trackday wheels to go on which should save another 10kg ish

a different battery(maybe redtop?) is another way to save some weight.

going to see if i can get anywhere near 500kg

just need to get on a good diet now too
